Worship at St. Philip's

Sundays

10:15am - 11:30am

(In person and on-line)

This is a key point in our week when we come together as a community to worship and share Holy Communion together.   â€‹

Our services are contemporary and accessible, with any words needed on a screen. We all worship together and have a child friendly guide which explains what's going on and has space for the children to doodle and join in with the service.  There are also activities for the younger ones to keep little hands and minds busy during the sermon.

(1st & 3rd Sundays are Morning Worship, 2nd & 4th are Holy Communion)

Midweek Holy Communion

Wednesday Morning 10:00am

(In person only)

Our midweek Communion service is a quiet, reflective service using the Church of England’s Holy Communion liturgy. It’s shorter than a Sunday service, with no hymns and a brief reflection instead of a full sermon, leaving space for personal prayer and quiet thought.

[There will be no midweek morning communion on 4th, 18th & 25th February 2026]

Night Prayer

On Wednesdays we end the day with Night Prayer, also known as Compline. This quiet and reflective service has been prayed for centuries as a way of bringing a peaceful close to the day and placing ourselves in God’s loving care before sleep.

Wednesday Evening 7:30pm
