Worship at St. Philip's

Sundays

10:15am - 11:30am

(In person and on-line)

This is a key point in our week when we come

together as a community to worship and share

Holy Communion together.

Our services are contemporary and accessible,

with any words needed on a screen. We all worship together and have a child friendly guide which explains what's going on and has space for the children to doodle and join in with the service.  There are also activities for the younger ones to keep little hands and minds busy during the sermon.

(1st & 3rd Sundays are Morning Worship, 2nd & 4th are Holy Communion)

Midweek Holy Communion

Wednesday Morning 10:00am

(In person only)

Our midweek Communion service is a quiet, reflective gathering that follows the Church of England’s liturgy for Holy Communion. The service is shorter in length, with no hymns or worship songs, and includes a brief reflection on the reading instead of a full sermon—allowing more time for personal prayer and contemplation.[There will be no midweek communion on 12th & 26th November 2025]

Night Prayer

On Wednesdays we end the day with Night Prayer, also known as Compline. This quiet and reflective service has been prayed for centuries as a way of placing ourselves in God’s care before sleep.

Wednesday Evening 7:30pm

(In person only)

It is a short, gentle time of prayer, scripture, and silence — offering space to let go of the busyness of the day, find peace in God’s presence, and prepare for rest. Whether you are new to church or familiar with the tradition, you are warmly invited to join us for this peaceful close to the day.

[There will be no night prayer 12th & 26th November 2025]
