Growing Together

Life groups

Following Jesus is a lifelong journey—one that goes far beyond Sunday mornings.  During the week, we gather in small groups to open the Bible, share life’s joys and challenges, pray together, and encourage one another as we seek to follow Jesus in our everyday lives.

Life Groups are at the heart of our church community, giving us a place to grow deeper in faith and closer to one another.

They are a space to be known, supported, and inspired—a place where real faith meets real life. Whether you’re new to church or have been a Christian for years, there’s a group for you, and you’re warmly invited to join us on the journey.

When and Where
Our groups meet in the church lounge during term time at two different times, so you can choose what works best for you:

Wednesday mornings: 10:30am – 12:00pm

Thursday evenings: 7:00pm – 8:30pm

Why not come along, find community, and see how Life Groups could be a blessing in your week?

Blokes Breakfasts

Every third month the men of St. Philip’s get together on a Saturday morning for a relaxed breakfast and good company. It’s a chance to enjoy some great food, catch up with friends, and get to know others in a welcoming, informal setting.

Whether you’re a regular at St. Philip’s or just looking to meet new people, you’re very welcome to join us.  See our Facebook page St. Philip's Church West Howe for dates.

Prayer

We believe in a God who hears and answers our prayers and prayer is central to our life together.  Our Prayer Group meets every other Tuesday in homes across West Howe. Together we pray for the life of our church, for our local community, and for the wider world. It’s a time to seek God’s guidance, share encouragement, and lift up the needs of those around us.  Let us know if there's something you'd like us to be praying for using the contacts form.

We also encourage people to form Prayer Partnerships – small groups of two or three who commit to praying for one another, supporting each other in faith and everyday life.

Whether you’ve been praying for years or are just beginning, you are warmly invited to join us.
